The "Feared 40"-----Taking Aim at Wyoming

Dear Fellow Conservative,

You might ask yourself why the Democrats would ever consider spending a dime on a U.S. Senate race in Wyoming. Well, I'll tell you.

This election year, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) run by New York's other Senator, Chuck Schumer, and his far-left friends are hell bent on striking down the Republicans to the "Feared 40",  a filibuster-proof Senate.

If Republicans have less than 41 seats in the Senate and there's a President Obama or Clinton in the White House, you can be assured that we will have higher taxes, increased spending and an even larger bureaucracy. And with no filibuster in the Senate, our last line of defense will be gone.

In a year when the pundits have been wrong and politics have been turned upside down we can't afford to take anything for granted.

Left-wing groups like MoveOn.org and their radical friends understand all too well what's at stake and why it's important to defeat every possible Republican Senator they can.

When Sen. Schumer boasts about the record-breaking sums of money that he and his liberal friends are raising to pick up Senate seats all over the country you can bet Wyoming is on their list.

They know that in a state like Wyoming, where media is inexpensive, a couple of million dollars could mean the margin of victory. And in this unusual year where both Senate seats are up, they think their chances couldn't be better.

While I may not be their top target in this year's elections, I'm not fooling myself into thinking that the Democrats won't aggressively support my opponent.

Securing this Senate seat isn't just about me, it's important to conservatives all across the nation. That's why I need your support to continue my fight for low taxes, limited government, local control, individual rights, and personal responsibility.
