NEWS ROUND-UP (30 MAY 2008)

Due to overwhelming support for the News Roundup's I will do my best to get one out every day.

Pro-lifers should be happy in Colorado today, I have a feeling that no matter how many citizens vote against child slaughter, the courts will somehow push the pro-choice agenda through, just like the gay marriage debacle in California.

Just incase you didn't know, tax payers are getting ripped off, over and over and over again.

Tofurkey, lettuce, boobs, and gasoline.  It's all here folks.

How's this for liberal logic: Animal's should have the right's of a 'person', but a child in the womb?  Eh...

Where do deleted characters go?

George Clooney has his head up his ass.

Those damn, dirty, stinking Jews.

Pelosi, Waters, Boxer and Feinstein are all witches!  We should at least consider it.

If we put some bling and a baseball cap turned to the side on this guy, would it be acceptable to brand him a "wigger?"  I wonder what Michelle Malkin thinks.

I wonder what Great Satan's Girlfriend is doing right now...hmmm.

Double Plus Undead fired his zombies after discovering they supported Obama.  He's feeling blue.

Al Gore was in New York eating a hot dog and leaned against a crane.

You almost have to love Greenpeace when the headline uses the words, whale -meat - smuggling.  He he he

Iran said it wants to move into Iraq, seize it's resources and open up terror training camps and compassionately help their neighbors rebuild.

Another veiled Obama endorsement from Tehran.  Nice huh?  The same place that arrest people for practicing Christianity.

A Big Dog get's upset over the bile that spews from the vile mouth of a San Fransicken.

The dumbest member of congress?

'Green' the new "ism"?

San Diego Muslim's and the A.C.L.U. think congress has nothing better to do.  Maybe they don't?

Socialism.

Failed Air America financier and all around douche, Evan Montvel-Cohen, arrested in Guam.

Turdette, Lisa Richardson at the LA Times thinks we deserve to have the U.N. judging our racial scorecard.

Scott McClellan.

Franklin G. Crabtree, new shitbag in charge of the A.C.L.U.

A nut case describes how to make a citizen arrest of "war criminals."

Hmm, the EU getting sick of illegal invaders as well.

NEWS ROUNDUP (29 MAY 2008)

Oohh the feminazi's are rallying the troops behind the Queen.

This Doctor may have finally explained the liberal sickness.

The Media Matters turds are upset that Russert isn't attacking McCain as much as they think he should.

Muslim "peacekeepers" patrolling Miami streets.  Hmmm...

The venerable Royal Society of London has become a publicist for climate alarmism, I've renamed them the Royal Society of Scumbags Pushing a Communist Agenda.

Rush counters the argument of Alex Castellanos, quite well actually.

How many zeroes in a billion?

A P.E.T.A. video, WTF?

S. 2191 still not fascist enough for the scumbags at the Sierra Club.  Contact your rep, VOTE NO ON S. 2191!

Indoctrination anyone?

Jimmy Carter is still a scumbag.

Iran tell's the U.N. they are punk, panty wearing sissy boy's.

Huffington Post turd's still confused about the threat Iran poses.

Only in America does a murderous gang leader get a parade in his honor.

Communist Party USA has found a connection to Obama?

Wake up folks, with the assistance of C.A.I.R. and our court systems, the Muslim's are taking over.  LGF had this.

Michael Jackson, remember him?  He's got three kids, I've got nothing clever to say.

Islamic states, known for their compassion, are increasing chokehold on U.N. Human Rights Council.

Hot Air has the low down on Obama, for some strange reason, suddenly talking about visiting Iraq.  Imagine that.

I don't know what's more disturbing about this, the fact that the ACLU thinks they have a right to know the security details surrounding the upcoming DNC convention, or the fact that $50million of our tax money goes to the socialist and republican parties to fund security.

Keep it up liberals, there won't be anyone willing to be a doctor anymore.

Canada say's they don't want no stinking Code Pink.

So someone in the country ILLEGALLY, therefore making them a criminal and "on the lamb", is still allowed to attend American colleges, so say the socialist(D).

Italian's are cracking heads.

According to the purveyors of infanticide, N.A.R.A.L., the moral abstinence only programs are placing our youth in danger.  Let's examine this logic - Abortions good, personal moral responsibility and abstinence bad.

S. 2191 - STOP THIS MADNESS NOW!

From the Heritage Foundation:

S. 2191 extracts trillions of dollars from the millions of American energy consumers and delivers this wealth to permanently identified classes of recipients, such as tribal groups and preferred technology sectors, while largely circumventing the normal congressional appropriations process. Unbound by the periodic review of the normal budgetary process, this de facto tax-and-spend program threatens to become permanent--independent of the goals of the legislation.

This rubbish will be going to the floor of the Senate next week and is authored by Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) and John Warner (R-VA).  We can understand Lieberman being behind this because, like his democrat brethren, they are intent on destroying American capitalism and replacing it with socialism.

But to see a "republican' name on such garbage should send the voters in droves, to get him out of office at the first opportunity given.

The world has gone completely mad to have whole heartedly aligned itself behind a myth, a lie and an out right attack on our very way of life.

Contact your representative (if we can even call them that anymore) and voice your opinion!  Vote NO on S. 2191!

Also, sign the petition to Drill here - Drill now - Pay less.

Heritage Foundation study here.  Video detailing why this bill is bad for America in the Media Center (top right).

UNITED NATIONS... *SIGH*... NO CATCHY TITLE

The United Nations ladies and gents.  You know them, you love them, Barack Obama and his libtard minion want us to governed by them.

Now they're paying Al Gore's electric bill.

Billions of pounds are being wasted in paying industries in developing countries to reduce climate change emissions, according to two analyses of the UN’s carbon offsetting programme.

Leading academics and watchdog groups allege that the UN’s main offset fund is being routinely abused by chemical, wind, gas and hydro companies who are claiming emission reduction credits for projects that should not qualify. The result is that no genuine pollution cuts are being made, undermining assurances by the UK government and others that carbon markets are dramatically reducing greenhouse gases, the researchers say.

The criticism centres on the UN’s clean development mechanism (CDM), an international system established by the Kyoto process that allows rich countries to meet emissions targets by funding clean energy projects in developing nations.

KID FRIENDLY FATAH & HAMAS

We have our own indoctrination problems here in America to deal with, yes that means you liberals.  But at least, so far as I know, they haven't stooped to the level that Hamas and Fatah have and always will.

Teaching children that all of Israel is occupied "Palestine" is a backbone of Palestinian Authority education for both Fatah and Hamas.

Both Hamas and Fatah recently broadcast TV programs featuring children with giant keys hanging from their necks, and names of Israeli cities written on the keys. The key, a symbol of ownership, is a prominent Palestinian symbol indicating their claim of ownership over all Israeli cities and all of Israel. It also represents their demand that residents of refugee camps be settled in these Israeli cities.

So there you have it folks, the religion of peace.  Good luck with that whole diplomacy thing Obama.

SOCIALISM U.S.A. STYLE (GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES)

Rich at From The Duke blog has a good take on the subsidies circus going on with the recent Farm Bill veto by President Bush.

We believe that subsidies in general are bad and produce bad outcomes for both taxpayers and consumers. Unlike Waldo we do not single out just sugar.
As Nobel laureate Milton Friedman said, ""One of the great mistakes is to judge policies and programs by their intentions rather than their results."

The results of subsidies are bad.

Of course a farmer raking in millions a year is not going to turn the money away and the "politician", out of fear of losing his job, will pander to them.

See the cycle of stupidity here folks?

CONSTITUTION PARTY'S CHUCK BALDWIN LAUNCHES WEBSITE

We do have options folks.  Hell, the Ron Paul twins like him!  Here's a list of his stances on a few issues from his website.

American Independence

The globalists are after our sovereignty, our freedom and our national independence. I will stand up for the economic security and independence of our people and the sovereignty of our American republic.

PRO-LIFERS EXPOSE OBAMANIACS IGNORANCE

Four women who were injured emotionally and spiritually by their abortions and regret their decisions confronted supporters of Barack Obama at a rally this week in Florida. The members of the post-abortion group Operation Outcry stood on the sidewalk holding signs that read “My Abortion Hurt Me."

Not surprising but revealing enough to mention is the fact that many Obama supporters are ignorant of Obama's liberal voting record especially on abortion issues.

Porter, who heads the Florida efforts for the post-abortion organization, told LifeNews.com she was surprised by the number of Obama backers who were uninformed about the presidential candidate's pro-abortion position.

"What surprised me the most was that many people that spoke to us were pro-life and didn't have a clue about Barack Obama’s liberal voting record," she said.

This just affirms what I have been saying all along, the rank and file democrat has no idea the evil they support.

INDOCTRINATION EXPOSED VIA KING OF THE HILL

Watch the whole episode if you haven't watched it before, it's definitely addressing the indoctrination in public schools.

DEMOCRATS LIED TO THE SHEEPLE? DO TELL!

Sad thing is, none of the rank and file socialist libtard's will take any of this into consideration come November.  Congressman Paul Kanjorski (D-PA) said:

"I'll tell you my impression. We really in this last election, when I say we...the Democrats, I think pushed it as far as we can to the end of the fleet, didn't say it, but we implied it. That if we won the Congressional elections, we could stop the war. Now anybody was a good student of Government would know that wasn't true. But you know, the temptation to want to win back the Congress, we sort of stretched the facts...and people ate it up."

A Big Dog weighs in:

One last thing. We have heard that Bush lied and people died for 5 years now. The Democrats said they would end the war but it has now been admitted that they lied. Is it fair to now claim the Democrats lied and people died?

Flopping Aces said this:

In 2006 the Democrats campaigned on, and won on, their claims that they would “end the war”.

Now, Obambi and sHillary are doing the same.

Should they be believed?

MYANMAR WANTS $11 BILLION?

Myanmar's military government wants more than $11 billion (5.6 billion pounds) in aid for cyclone victims, but international donors need access to verify their needs, a top Southeast Asian diplomat said on Wednesday.

I'm having a hard time with this one folks, so three weeks after the fact the Junta finally steps up with their hand out?  No doubt whatever it is they were hiding has been moved or further hidden and I'll bet you a new hunting dog and a box of shotgun shells, the everyday citizen will see maybe a penny of every dollar of any money loaned (given) to the thugs in charge.  Not smart.

TWO LOCAL TROOPS RETURN HOME FROM IRAQ

It's Memorial Day weekend again, time we should spend reflecting on what a different country this might be were it not for the men and women who gave their lives in freedom's defense.

So whether your driving to Auntie Helen's house for a family reunion or lounging with the kids watching the tube, take time out to reflect and give thanks for those who sacrificed it all for you to have the right to shove Auntie Helen's horrible "fruit salad" in your face or watch that Sponge Bob tape you can recite from memory.

Troops made it all possible.

Fortunately these two local troops made it home.

To clarify, my military background leads me to label all military members as troops, it's just a Cavalry term, I give thanks to all of the military guys and gals AND CIVILIANS who lost their lives in the battle for freedom the world over.

JESSE JACKSON COULDN'T BE MORE WRONG

If the "relevant" Reverend Jackson had his way, there would exist a world without guns.  But one would have to be a complete fool to think that world could ever exist.  Is Jesse a complete fool?  Well, yes, but here's why.

JesseJackson1Renewing a call to ban assault weapons nationwide, the Rev. Jesse Jackson objected Saturday to the Chicago Police Department's plan to arm officers with combat rifles.

"These weapons, they're only used to kill people," Jackson said in an interview with The Associated Press.

Jackson, a longtime advocate for gun control, said giving officers M4 carbines will "intensify violence" and create more tension between citizens and law enforcement officers.

So a well armed police force would "intensify violence"?

A COUNTRY SONG IN THE MAKING

image Over in Arkansas a 12 year old little hellion and his 10 year old accomplice, got smashed and stole his step-daddy's truck to chase down some buckle bunny he had met at a rodeo.  G-D bless  the little varmints, they made it 10 miles before wiping out.  I wonder if the liberals have infiltrated that part of the country yet and outlawed the right of a parent to whoop some ass?

If we don't hear a country song about this very soon, I'd be shocked.  I think Hank Jr. is the only one who could do it justice.

NOTE: That's not the actual kids in the image above, I did a Google image search for -drunk redneck kids- and this popped up from Ninja Dude.

DRILL HERE, DRILL NOW, PAY LESS

by Newt Gingrich (more by this author)

Last week, liberals in Congress voted for the equivalent of a $150 billion tax increase. They voted to make your next trip to the gas station more expensive; to make your next airplane ticket more expensive; to make heating your home more expensive -- even to make feeding your family more expensive.

How did they do it? By voting to block environmentally sound production of U.S. energy in favor of continuing to be held hostage to oil from foreign dictatorships. I'll explain in a minute.

OBAMA WANTS YOU TO SWEAT WHILE EATING LESS

image

Graphic props and all around cool points to Sweasel

Obama said;

"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,"

This America hating fool just gave us another peek into what he really wants to do to America.  Destroy it.  Freudian slip #387.  Since when did we need the world's approval for anything?

Having no idea what he just said, I'll bet the libtards crapped their pants jumping up to clap their little manicured hands together in glee.  If they only knew what he is going to take from them.

OBAMA'S BLACK PLANET PAGE

So Obama has a Black Planet page so what, right?  What if McCain had a White Planet link on his official site?  Oh, that's right, we're not allowed to have a White Planet site.

Why does this not sit well with me?  The link is at the bottom right of his official website.

THE WORLD BANK AND THE INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND

A fellah named Lindsey Williams whom I'd never heard of until today, just ruined my day.  It's a long video and kinda dry, but the story he tells is pretty disturbing.  I suggest starting it and opening another tab to continue working and just listen.  This smells of a big pile of kookiness, but yikes!  He did correctly point out that America was never meant to be a democracy but a republic though.

RAGING FLORIDA WILDFIRES, SMOKE HAZE & HOOTERS IS CLOSED

Well folks, Hooters will be open again before you can unsnap a 36D bra, the grass will grow back and those, safe from DDT birds will be free to once again pooh on your windshield.  One wonders what folks did prior to big media making news out of non news.

I sit in central Florida as we speak and aside from some wind and a brief shower, life goes on.  Fires happen folks, always have, and always will, whether a hobo started it or not, the human race lives on.  When is there going to be a Committee Against Fire's & Stuff, most likely headed by that most foul of liberal shitbags, John Kerry, with a socialist mandated budget of $700million tax dollars annually.

Where's Al Gore and his sissy global warming nuts when fire spews that most horrible of elements, carbon, into the air au naturel?  Shouldn't the local Fire Departments be taxed for not putting them out fast enough?  Matter of fact, wouldn't a frightened cow spew much more greenhouse gas into the atmosphere after being frightened by a raging fire?

If we're gonna destroy capitalism via a hoax. let's do it right!

IT TOOK A LADY FROM ARIZONA TO TELL ME ABOUT A NAKED COMMIE

image Miss Beth starts off stating over at Grizzly Groundswell that, "we've all heard of the Naked Communist", described as a tome (yes I had to look it up) written by some cat named W. Cleon Skousen.  Ding Dong!  I've never heard of it, and if I don't get a semi-used copy in the mail here soon from one of you, there's gonna be trouble!  My address is 101 Swamp Bottom... never mind.

Snooper, at A Newt One, laid out the meat of the book for us with a list of 45 sinister steps to FUBAR our fine republic.  Thanks communist liberals!

Never fear, provided are two solutions provided by two fine Americans, however the one provided by the Knight with an embellished groin is not ready for prime time.  Michael Savage lay's out the first one here and it makes way too much sense for any socialist democrat or big government RINO to understand.  But we get it don't we.  For the Knights solution you'll have to go over and check it out for yourself.

Joke as I may, you'd be hard pressed to find any untruths in any of it.  I'm locked and loaded, are you?

ISLAMIC TERRORISM vs GLOBAL WARMING

Daniel Greenfield has an interesting perspective to share from the Canada Free Press.

If Liberals had any sense at all, instead of placing Polar Bears on the endangered species list, they should be placing themselves there. After all the number of countries and places, habitats if you will, where one can be an Atheist, a Homosexual, mock religion, draw cartoons, engage in transgressive performance art or demand that your country surrender to the enemy is rapidly shrinking. It doesn’t take a computer model to estimate that the number of places where one can successfully be a liberal will continue going down as countries grow more and more Islamically oriented.

Give it a read.

MYANMAR AND CHINA WARY OF HANDOUTS

I've received a few emails lately soliciting donations to help out the folks devastated in China and Myanmar.  Seem's everywhere you look lately there's a button, banner or link asking for cash to help out.  If these disasters had happened in America we would have had at least five men in the business of religion explaining to us that it was punishment from G-D for our foreign policy and the rest would have been lined up to blame President Bush.

But our Asian friends don't want our help.  And I for one, don't care.

Sure the images of the women and children lying dead in the streets, horribly mutilated are disturbing, the images of women and children crying from loss of a loved ones or hunger tears me up inside.  But if their governments don't want out help, I wish them luck, turn, and walk away, we've got our own problems.

If I could I would personally go over and do everything I could, as humans we are naturally compassionate creatures, but last time I checked, China was flush with money and Myanmar has something so horrible to hide they don't want the outside world to see it, they are willing to let their citizenry perish.  I choose not to beat myself up about it.

This is the point I would like to make from all of this.

Liberals, generational welfare families and those who feel America is so horrible, look to China and Myanmar.  See what a horrible regime really looks like.  Next time you feel like complaining, shut up.  And.  Where's the aid and money when a disaster happens on American soil?

Baldilocks has a breakdown of who's helping.

THE LOST TRIBES OF ISRAEL

by Patrick J. Buchanan (more by this author)

Posted 05/16/2008 ET

As Israel enters its 61st year, Israelis may look back with pride. Yet, the realists among them must also look forward with foreboding.

Israel is a modern democracy with the highest standard of living in the Middle East. In the high-tech industries of the future, she is in the first rank. From a nation of fewer than a million in 1948, Israel's population has grown to 7 million. In seven wars -- the 1948 War of Independence, the Sinai invasion of 1956, the Six-Day War of 1967, the Yom Kippur War of 1973, and the Lebanon wars of 1982 and 2006 -- Israel has prevailed, though some of these wars were, as Wellington said of Waterloo, "a damn near-run thing."

Israel has revived Hebrew, created a new currency, immersed her children in the history, ancient and modern, of her people, and established a homeland for Jews from all over the world, millions of whom have migrated there to settle. Israel is now home to the largest concentration of Jews anywhere on earth.

Here, however, we come to the heart of the existential crisis.

Israel became home to the largest Jewish population on earth in part because American Jews in the 1990s fell in number from 5.5 million to 5.2 million, a loss of 300,000, or 6 percent of the U.S. Jewish population.

According to Charles Krauthammer, by 2050, the U.S. Jewish population will have shrunk another 50 percent to 2.5 million. American Jews are slowly vanishing. How and why is this happening?

It is the collective decision of American Jews themselves, who have led the battles for birth control and a woman's right to choose.

As Jews were roughly 2 percent of the U.S. population from Roe v. Wade to today, perhaps 2 percent of the 50 million legal abortions since Roe were likely performed on Jewish girls or women, resulting in 1 million lost members of the Jewish community in 35 years.

And if demography is destiny, Israel's future, too, appears grim.

As former Ambassador Zalman Shoval writes, Israel's population of 7 million is 80 percent Jewish. But the Palestinian population of Israel has risen to 20 percent and is growing much faster.

One Israel blogger, using Shoval's totals, writes that among the Israeli population between 1 and 4 years old, roughly 30 percent is Arab. The future of Israel is thus increasingly Arab and less Jewish.

According to the United Nations, by 2050, Israel will have 10 million people.

By then, the Arab population, at present birth rates, is likely to be close to 30 percent of the Israeli population. On the West Bank and Gaza, today's 4 million Arabs are to explode to 10 million, far outstripping the growth in Israel. Jordan's population of 5 million, 60 percent Palestinian, will also double to 10 million.

Thus, not even counting Palestinians in Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria and the Gulf states, Israel's 7 million to 8 million Jews in 2050 will be living with 13 million Palestinians in Israel, Jerusalem, Gaza and the West Bank. If Israel is to survive as a Jewish state, a separate and independent Palestinian state would seem an imperative.

Yet, as Israelis continue to build outposts and expand and add settlements, the possibility of a Palestinian state recedes. Indeed, many Israelis, seeing what an end to the occupation produced in Gaza, refuse to consider any pullout at all from the West Bank.

Such a policy of holding on and digging in is sometimes the best one -- but only if time is on one's side. Is time on Israel's side?

According to the world population statistics from the National Policy Institute, the worldwide Arabic population in 1950 was only 94 million, less than 4 percent of the world population. But by 2050, it will be 700 million, 7 percent of a world population of almost 10 billion.

According to U.N. population experts, Lebanon's population will grow to 5 million in 2050, but Syria's will almost double from today's 20 million to 34 million. The population of Saudi Arabia will rise from 24 million to 45 million. Egypt will grow by more than 50 million to 121 million Egyptians by 2050. The Islamic Republic of Iran, 71 million today, is expected to reach 100 million at mid-century.

And, demography aside, the Islamic faith of Israel's neighbors is becoming militant. Hamas now controls Gaza. Hezbollah now controls Southern Lebanon and is becoming the power in Beirut. While Egypt is headed by a pro-American autocrat, the principal rival for power is the widely popular Muslim Brotherhood.

Those who do not like the Saudi monarchy should consider what is likely to rise in its place, should the House of Saud fall. The same is true of the Jordanian and Moroccan monarchies, and the sheikdoms, emirates and sultanates of the Persian Gulf.

In any struggle of generations, the critical question is often: Whose side is time on? As President Bush celebrates Israel's 60th birthday, and is celebrated in turn as Israel's best friend ever, it is a fair question to ask.

Mr. Buchanan is a nationally syndicated columnist and author of "The Death of the West," "The Great Betrayal," "A Republic, Not an Empire" and "Where the Right Went Wrong."

RADICAL ISLAMIC HATE SPEECH IS O'TAY!

o-tay If I'm reading it all right, some filmmakers in jolly old England, used hidden cameras to film some crazed Mullah types going on and on about jihad against those damned infidels, that's you and me.  Some cops caught wind and called the films fake, the filmmakers sued and got an apology from the police and some hefty loot via a handy dandy lawsuit.  Typical BS right?

Well it is until you find out that the Mullah's caught on tape preaching hate and inciting violence are free and clear to gather again the following Friday and call for jihad.

Aren't you multi-culturalist liberals proud?  Look for similar happenings in our fine republic soon.  More here

BOB BARR ON CALIFORNIA'S GAY MARRIAGE YHIPPEE FESTIVAL OF GAYNESS AND GAYHOOD

image

Bob Barr, Libertarian presidential candidate issued the following statement.

Bob Barr, former Member of Congress from Georgia and current candidate for President for the Libertarian Party, today issued the following statement in reaction to today's decision by the California Supreme Court allowing for the recognition of same sex marriage in that state:

"Regardless of whether one supports or opposes same sex marriage, the decision to recognize such unions or not ought to be a power each state exercises on its own, rather than imposition of a one-size-fits-all mandate by the federal government (as would be required by a Federal Marriage Amendment which has been previously proposed and considered by the Congress).  The decision today by the Supreme Court of California properly reflects this fundamental principle of federalism on which our nation was founded.

"Indeed, the primary reason for which I authored the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996 was to ensure that each state remained free to determine for its citizens the basis on which marriage would be recognized within its borders, and not be forced to adopt a definition of marriage contrary to its views by another state.  The decision in California is an illustration of how this principle of states' powers should work."

Real American's don't want anything to do with California anymore so who cares what they do.  I agree with Barr's statement wholeheartedly.

BUT!

What happens when that fruity couple moves to another state and that "marriage" is null and void?  Aaaaaaaannnnnnnddd, a majority of Californians did NOT want this crap passed, so someone (CA Supreme Court) didn't give a shit what the citizenry wanted.

They won't stop folks, and armed with the ACLU utilizing our court system to destroy America, they're coming our way.

JEREMIAH WRIGHT AND HIS CONNECTION TO BLACK RACIST FRATERNITIES pt.2

Last month I shared personal experiences I had with black fraternities while stationed overseas in the military.  Ooohh the flak I got for that one!  Problem is, none of it was an attempt to sling mud or besmirch any organizations that any of you may belong to, it was an honest account of my exposure to, and interaction with, black Greek letter frat members and Prince Hall Mason's.

It all started when I saw Jeremiah Wright make frat signs, "Q dawg hooks" 32 seconds into the video below, after answering a question from the moderator at the National Press Club.

He apparently was tickled pink that all eyes were on him and, like a small child, took that opportunity to act the fool rather than help Obama's campaign.  That's your fraternity brother, not mine, so don't get yourself upset when someone points it out.  Police him up, and make him stop presenting your organizations in such a juvenile manner.

After some further research, comment re-reading and talks with friends, the fraternity members I was exposed to in the military, in some instances, do not reflect the character, lifestyle or beliefs of these same organizations stateside.  My message to the Greek letter members and PH Mason's.  Go visit those representing your organizations overseas around military bases.  You would be disgusted.

Many of you mentioned that your membership is open to all races.  Sure it is, or you couldn't operate.  Let's move that defense out of the way up front.

Now as for Jeremiah Wright, forgetting his affiliations completely, the guy is still a poor representation of the black community.   Forget the turkeys he may have passed out at Thanksgiving, forget the victim hood he would like you to feel.  This man and the democrat/socialist party are your worse enemy.  They profit by your condition and do everything in their power, to include, derailing a black presidential candidates chances of winning, all to keep the status quo.  Without  it, they too are browsing the classifieds looking for a job.

A disclaimer from the makers of this film:

He's a smart and funny guy, and has complete awareness of his actions and decisions. And we all had an awesome time shooting "Retarded Policeman!"

IS IT 5 O'CLOCK YET?

So much happening today.  Johnny boy McCain, aside from his many other liberal leanings, has further confirmed his desire to impose a cap and trade system to cut that horrible, awful green house gas the unwashed hippies get their skid marked undies all bunched up over.  I don't know why I thought the EPA took care of that type regulating, I mean, aren't we essentially talking about taxing and trading in air?  Gub'ment need money, gub'ment TAKE money!  Good job Johnny boy, let's make sure America suffers under some strangling scam while the rest of the world overtakes us, free from any regulation at all.  And you wonder why no one wants to donate to your campaign?  Someone with a funny name titled a new campaign ad for McCain, "Let’s fight global warming, but in a good way."  Someone pretty said McCain is on a "climate change tour."

Libertarian Bob Barr has announced he's running for POTUS and republicans are sipping scotch through clenched teeth at the news.  If he joins forces with say, Ron Paul, I think they may actually give Johnny boy and either socialist(D) a run for their money.  Hell, they may even win!  Maybe that would be just the ticket to shake things up a bit around here.  I am honestly curious to see what a Libertarian candidate could do for America.  I can already see the libtards launching "counter operation chaos" to derail McCain by pouring money into Barr's account.

It's enough to drive a man to drink...  Is it 5 o'clock yet?

This video makes me feel better, I hope it does you to.

SCUMBAG ALERT

14 Reasons To Contact Your Representative

An older post that I thought was a good reminder and needed to be seen again.

Firstly, I have nothing at all against any LEGAL immigrant.  The only reason I can think of for the socialist(D) unending push for amnesty, whether it be disguised under the AgJobs bill or giving drivers license to illegal criminal invaders, is vote pandering.  They truly make me ill.  For anyone to think the socilaist(D) party will take this great Nation to greater heights "cannot see the forest for the trees".  Please make sure that you let your representative's know how you feel.

BLEW MY MIND

Maybe the Schlitz is working overtime or maybe this article is worth passing along.  You be the judge.

Leftists have a habit of micro-analysis. They analyze only the last steps without seeing them as consequences of earlier decision or the macro picture. They demand that Israel gives back the Golan Heights without realizing that their occupation was not an Israeli offense, the primary wrong, but rather Israel’s way of defending herself, undoing the Syria’s wrong. It’s like complaining of police violently arresting a person while ignoring the fact that he is a wanted criminal.

The left ignores the big picture: they demand that Israel accommodates her Arabs. However, the Arab presence in Israel is only an uncompleted part of the exchange of populations: Israel took Jews from Arab countries, and Arab countries should take Arabs from Israel.

OBAMA STUFFS - OR DOES HE?

Just saw this over at the lovely Michelle Malkin's blog and had to backtrack to an Allahpundit post at Hot Air to catch a link to the video.  Now ole' Buffoon(TRM) loves the ladies more than any guy, but is it me or are Obama's jeans a little too tight if you catch my drift and from the looks of it he either stuff's or is sporting major "garbage".  That would explain his stupidity, a lack of blood flow to the brain.

Click the image to see the CNN video.  Michelle does make a good point stating, "This is CNN."  Which said to me, this is supposed to be a legitimate news agency and it's gone soft porn.  One blogger pegged this as a future SNL sketch.  I can see it now.

A NUGGET FROM EL RUSHBO

God's creation is so complex, it's human vanity to think we can influence it much less destroy it. Rush illustrates his point with astounding photos of an erupting volcano, the lack of cooling in Antarctica and more.

AL GORE SHOULD BE JAILED

Just read an interesting article about our man Al Gore and his wanton destruction of so may lives for personal financial gain.

Al Gore has surpassed himself. Having helped to kill tens of millions of helpless African, Asian, and South American children and to sicken hundreds of millions of other people with his support for the ban of DDT, Mr. Gore is now attempting to deprive the survivors in these same countries of energy -- life-giving energy that makes possible their meager existences.

JAIL GORE BSTICKER

We all know his motives but many do not or refuse to believe it.  Pass this information along and try to save at least one person from the criminal lies that Al Gore and his lackey's are spreading and are profiting nicely from.  The bumper sticker above sums it up nicely.

BARACK NOT ENOUGH OF AN UNHINGED RADICAL FOR SOME

At least that's the vibe that I got from a piece over at Black Agenda Report.  I don't take seriously much that comes from this camp, but I do read there from time to time for comic relief.  What else could you get from a place where many of the readers consider Cynthia McKinney valid presidential material?  The black progressives eating their own again.

The fragility of Barack Obama's DLC-inspired electoral strategy is now exposed for all to see. Obama has chosen to “reach out” to white and Republican voters while challenging none of their assumptions about America, racism or empire, at the same time, counting on on a deaf and blind black nationalism to shield him from accountability to African Americans. Republicans (and Hillary Clinton) know all they need do to counter him is prove to whites that he is not as conservative as he seems. Obama will thus be forced scramble relentlessly rightward from here on, disowning, denouncing and dishonoring any and all stirrings of black or grassroots militancy to keep white support without telling white America anything it doesn't want to know.

Go on over and have a laugh.

Of Speculators and Cartels Who Determines the Price of Oil?

This is an older article as you can tell from the oil prices noted here, but I still find it an interesting perspective from Ralph Nader.  I defend Bush & Cheney till the end, but I trust you'll find this an interesting aside as well.

By RALPH NADER

Question of the day: who and what is determining the price of oil and your gasoline and home heating bills? Don't ask Uncle Sam, because George W. Bush and Dick Cheney are running a regime marinated in oil that does not issue reports which explain the real determinants of petroleum pricing beyond the conventional supply-demand curves.

First, let us create a historical framework to provide some background. In the good 'ole oil days, before the producer-countries' cartel in the Third World gained pricing power, there were seven giant oil companies called the 'seven sisters' led by Standard Oil (now Exxon) and Shell. As chronicled in Robert Engler's classic book, The Brotherhood of Oil, they were able to affect pricing through extra-market means. Economists called them a tight oligopoly.

OPEC later took their place at the table in the mid to late Seventies and set the price of crude oil at highly publicized meetings of the various member countries representatives from the Middle East, South America and Africa. Adjusting, 'seven sisters' concentrated their pricing and supply power downstream at the refining, pipeline and marketing levels.

Pricing power was never total but it was always complex, occurring in the interstices of an industry few outsiders understood, and fewer regulators could affect. Besides, natural gas was de-regulated between 1978 and 1993, after which its prices really took off.

Today, a third party has moved to the table-the New York Mercantile Exchange, a similar operates in London and a new one in Dubai. There, boisterous traders buy and sell futures contracts on the delivery of oil. But as Ben Mezrich, the author of the new book Rigged said recently, the dollar amounts of these futures contracts are far far larger than the actual oil deliveries they represent as they turn over and over at the Mercantile Exchange.

So now the critical resource of oil is driven by speculation at ever higher abstract electronic levels of futures trading. Increasingly, the distance becomes greater and greater between this abstract trading (fueled by rumors of storms in the Gulf of Mexico, or some possible political turmoil in a region of the world, or some other frightful excuse for bidding up) and the physical supply and demand for oil and its refined products.

These oil gamblers in New York and London try to justify their frenetic daily bidding by saying that these futures markets provide liquidity, and a clear price for oil. Alright, but who benefits when, how and where?

Certainly, the strain between physical supply and demand in recent years does not explain such extreme volatility. With OPEC countries down to supplying only 40 percent of the world production, Chinese demand for oil growing fast, and the expansion of production by Saudi Arabia and others to meet this demand, crude oil supplies are not tight enough to explain such pricing behavior.

Old factors like inadequate oil company investment in refinery capacity, longer down times for repairs than some observers believe necessary, and the slumping dollar are factors that western governments, especially the Bush regime, have not wanted to investigate. After all, with consumers paying sky-high prices for these fuels, free market theorists are supposed to expect expanded supplies from recoverable reserves to grow. But, of course, the global market for oil is anything but a free market from the producers- both corporate and governmental- toward the downstream companies to the consumers.

In recent days, the price of crude oil escalated to over $90 a barrel, fluctuating up to a high of $96 a barrel. Yet the average price of gasoline in the United States-around $3.00 per gallon-is about what it was earlier this year when the price of crude oil was around $60 a barrel. Why the disconnect?

"It's a big gambling hall," The Washington Post quotes Fadel Gheit, an oil analyst at Oppenheimer. "This time it's just speculation," Peter C. Fusaro, chairman of Global Change Associates, told the Post, adding, "There's a large bet out there that prices will continue to trend higher. But it's detached from fundamentals because there's no shortage of oil."

Meanwhile, the government of Big Oil runs Washington, D.C. It thumbed its nose at pleas from then Chairman of the powerful Finance Committee, Senator Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) who asked the major companies, swimming in massive profits, to contribute some charitable dollars to help the poor pay for their winter home heating bills, and has smugly watched the major Presidential candidates avoid the subject in their debates and declarations.

Oil companies seem to spend more executive effort looking for oil by merging with other companies (note the unchallenged merger of Exxon and Mobil under the Clinton administration) than with developing efficient oil-producing and consuming technology or expanding their solar energy subsidiaries.

So long as the price of crude oil is set by speculators on trading floors, so long as the oil-indentured politicians are not challenged by new candidates standing tall for people and environments, so long as we do not protest for change and press ourselves to prevent wasteful habits and uses, get ready for higher oil prices.

HAT IN HAND, OUR PRESIDENT DISCUSSES OIL WITH THE SAUDIS

Skipping the usual litany of, "this makes me sick", "what a waste of time" and that old favorite, "fuck them arabs", let's slaughter this pig a different way.

My Plea to Republicans: It's Time for Real Change to Avoid Real Disaster

by Newt Gingrich (more by this author)

Posted 05/06/2008 ET
Updated 05/06/2008 ET

The Republican loss in the special election for Louisiana's Sixth Congressional District last Saturday should be a sharp wake up call for Republicans: Either Congressional Republicans are going to chart a bold course of real change or they are going to suffer decisive losses this November.

The facts are clear and compelling.

Saturday's loss was in a district that President Bush carried by 19 percentage points in 2004 and that the Republicans have held since 1975.

This defeat follows on the loss of Speaker Hastert's seat in Illinois. That seat had been held by a Republican for 76 years with the single exception of the 1974 Watergate election when the Democrats held it for one term. That same seat had been carried by President Bush 55-44% in 2004.

Two GOP Losses That Validate a National Pattern

These two special elections validate a national polling pattern that is bad news for Republicans. According to a New York Times/CBS Poll, Americans disapprove of the President's job performance by 63 to 28 (and he has been below 40% job approval since December 2006, the longest such period for any president in the history of polling).

A separate New York Times/CBS Poll shows that a full 81 percent of Americans believe the economy is on the wrong track.

The current generic ballot for Congress according to the NY Times/CBS poll is 50 to 32 in favor of the Democrats. That is an 18-point margin, reminiscent of the depths of the Watergate disaster.

Congressional Republicans Can't Take Comfort in McCain's Poll Numbers

Senator McCain is currently running ahead of the Republican congressional ballot by about 16 percentage points. But there are two reasons that this extraordinary personal achievement should not comfort congressional Republicans.

First, McCain's lead is a sign of the gap between the McCain brand of independence and the GOP brand. No regular Republican would be tying or slightly beating the Democratic candidates in this atmosphere. It is a sign of how much McCain is a non-traditional Republican that he is sustaining his personal popularity despite his party's collapse.

Second, there is a grave danger for the McCain campaign that if the generic ballot stays at only 32 % for the GOP it will ultimately outweigh McCain's personal appeal and drag his candidacy into defeat.

The Anti-Obama, Anti-Wright, and Anti-Clinton GOP Model Has Been Tested -- And It Failed

The Republican brand has been so badly damaged that if Republicans try to run an anti-Obama, anti- Reverend Wright, or (if Senator Clinton wins), anti-Clinton campaign, they are simply going to fail.

This model has already been tested with disastrous results.

In 2006, there were six incumbent Republican Senators who had plenty of money, the advantage of incumbency, and traditionally successful consultants.

But the voters in all six states had adopted a simple position: "Not you." No matter what the GOP Senators attacked their opponents with, the voters shrugged off the attacks and returned to, "Not you."

The danger for House and Senate Republicans in 2008 is that the voters will say, "Not the Republicans."

Republicans Have Lost the Advantage on Every Single-Issue Poll

A February Washington Post poll shows that Republicans have lost the advantage to the Democrats on which party can handle an issue better -- on every single topic.

Americans now believe that Democrats can handle the deficit better (52 to 31), taxes better (48 to 40) and even terrorism better (44 to 37).

This is a catastrophic collapse of trust in Republicans built up over three generations on the deficit, two generations on taxes, and two generations on national security.

House Republicans Should Call an Emergency, Members-Only Conference

Faced with these election results, the House Republicans should hold an emergency members-only meeting. At the meeting, they should pose this stark choice: Real change or certain defeat.

If a majority of the House Republicans vote for real change, they should instruct Republican Leader John Boehner and his team to come back with a new plan by the Wednesday before the Memorial Day recess. This plan should involve real change in legislative, communications, and campaign strategy and involve immediate, real action, including a complete overhaul of the Congressional Campaign Committee. The House Republican Conference would then vote for the plan or insist on its revision.

If a majority of the House Republicans are opposed to acting then the minority who are activists should establish a parallel organization dedicated to real change. This group should focus its energies on creating the changes necessary to survive despite a conference with a minority mindset that accepts defeat rather than fights for real change (which is what we had when I entered Congress in 1978).

Nine Acts of Real Change That Could Restore the GOP Brand

Here are nine acts of real change that would begin to rebuild the American people's confidence that Republicans share their values, understand their worries, and are prepared to act instead of just talk. The Republicans in Congress could get a start on all nine this week if they had the will to do so.

  1. Repeal the gas tax for the summer, and pay for the repeal by cutting domestic discretionary spending so that the transportation infrastructure trust fund would not be hurt. At a time when, according to The Hill newspaper, Senator Clinton is asking for $2.3billion in earmarks, it should be possible for Republicans to establish a "government spending versus your pocketbook" fight over cutting the gas tax that would resonate with most Americans. Lower taxes and less government spending should be a battle cry most taxpayers and all conservatives could rally behind.
  2. Redirect the oil being put into the national petroleum reserve onto the open market. That oil would lower the price of gasoline an extra 5 to 6 cents per gallon, and its sale would lower the deficit.
  3. Introduce a "more energy at lower cost with less environmental damage and greater national security bill" as a replacement for the Warner-Lieberman "tax and trade" bill which is coming to the floor of the Senate in the next few weeks (see my newsletter next week for an outline of a solid pro-economy, pro-national security, pro-environment energy bill). When the American people realize how much the current energy prices are actually a "politicians' energy crisis" they will demand real change in our policies.
  4. Establish an earmark moratorium for one year and pledge to uphold the presidential veto of bills with earmarks through the end of 2009. The American people are fed up with politicians spending their money. They currently believe both parties are equally bad. This is a real opportunity to show the difference.
  5. Overhaul the census and cut its budget radically. The recent announcement that the Census Bureau could not build an effective hand-held computer for $1.3 billion and is turning instead to 600,000 temporary workers to do a paper and pencil census in 2010 is an opportunity to slash its budget, shrink its bureaucracy, and turn to entrepreneurial internet-based companies to build an information-age census. This is an absurdity that cries out for bold, decisive reform (see my YouTube video "FedEx versus federal bureaucracy" for an example of what I mean).
  6. Implement a space-based, GPS-style air traffic control system. The problems of the Federal Aviation Administration are symptoms of a union-dominated bureaucracy resisting change. If we implemented a space-based GPS-style air traffic system we would get 40% more air travel with one-half the bureaucrats. The union has stopped 200,000,000 passengers from enjoying more reliable air travel to protect 7,000 obsolete jobs. This real change would allow the millions of frustrated travelers to have champions in congress trying to help them get places better, safer, faster.
  7. Declare English the official language of government. This real change is supported by 87% of the American people including a majority of Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and Latinos. It is an issue of national unity that brings Americans together in a red, white, and blue majority.
  8. Protect the workers' right to a secret ballot. The vast majority (around 81%) of Americans believe that American workers have a right to have a secret ballot election before they are forced to join a union. Last year the House Democrats passed a bill that would strip American workers of the secret ballot. A new bill should be introduced reaffirming that right, and it should be brought up again and again until marginal Democrats are forced to vote with the American people against the union power structure.
  9. Remind Americans that judges matter. Senate Republicans should mount an ongoing fight (including a filibuster of other activities if necessary) to get the American people to realize that liberals want to block all current judicial appointments in order to maximize the number of left wing radical judges they can appoint if they win the White House. This issue has three advantages. It reminds people that judges matter and that a leftwing radical Supreme Court would be bad for the values of most (70 to 90 percent, depending on the issue) Americans. It shows the Democrats are not engaged in fair play. It arouses the activism of those who have been disappointed by Republicans and have forgotten how bad a liberal Democratic Presidency would be.

What Is at Stake

No Republicans should kid themselves. It's time to face up to a stark choice.

Without change we could face a catastrophic election this fall.

Without change the Republican Party in the House could revert to the permanent minority status it had from 1930 to 1994.

Without change, the majorities of Americans who support the Republican principle of smaller, more efficient, smarter and fairer government will be in for a rude awakening.

It's time for real change to avoid a real disaster.

The "May Day Massacre": Can Liberals Govern in a Global Economy?

Despite the poor outlook for conservatives in our elections this November, there is encouraging news from across the Atlantic. The conservative wave sweeping Europe hit England last week when the liberal Labor Party suffered its worst local election results in 40 years.

Boris Johnson became the first Conservative Party member elected mayor of London when he defeated Labour candidate "Red" Ken Livingstone. In contests for more than 4,000 local seats across England, Conservatives captured 44 percent of the vote, compared to 25 percent for the Liberal Democrats and just 24 percent for Labour.

This Conservative victory in England comes on the heels of a history-making rout of the Communists and the Greens in parliamentary elections Italy two weeks ago. And the Italian results follow center-right victories in France (Sarkozy) and Germany (Merkel). The countries of so-called "old" Europe are turning away from the liberal high tax, big government policies that have crippled their economies and are turning toward pro-growth, pro-competitive center-right solutions.

All of which raises the question: Can the Left successfully govern in a modern, global economy? The voters of Europe seem to be saying no.

THINGS YOU'LL NEVER SEE #3

If you don't already know who the Westboro Baptist Church folks are, they're the crazed idiots who think that the 9/11 attacks were G-D punishing America for homosexuals and they love nothing more than to gather at a fallen soldiers funeral with signs declaring, "Thank G-D for IED's" & that ole' whack job favorite, "G-D hates fags."

While they both may be a similar number of cards short of a full deck, I still think this is something you will never see.
